This Zinfandel shows more red fruit than black in color and profile. Raspberry jam and red plums are found in abundance on the nose, with spice notes and a trace of lavender. Flavors of dense red berry fruit, accented by American oak, are joined by mineral, baking spices and black pepper. The wine has firm, yet fine tannins, and can age well for several years.
