Smith-Berry Bluegrass Blush TM 12.5%
Dark salmon in color. Tart cherry, raspberry & watermelon on the nose, with vibrant strawberry & raspberry fruits on palate. Fairly sweet, but pleasant & well made. Serve as a pleasant summer apertif.
Smith-Berry Two Dog White TM 11.5%
An interesting wine evolved from the Chardonnel grape. In a twist, winemaker Chuck Smith doesn't ferment the wine to being fully dry. Rather, this delightful white wine is left with just a light perception of sweetness; putting it into the off-dry category. A combination of pear, honeysuckle and lilac make an attractive assortment of aromas which come forth to greet you. On the palate, this light bodied wine has a stone fruit quality accented with a dash of spice that balances the initial perception of sweetness. Great wine for a turkey dinner!
Smith-Berry Vidal Blanc 12%
This French American hybrid is akin to a pleasant German Kabinett level Riesling. Pale gold in color, almost clear. The aroma is filled with pears & vanilla. Poached pear on the palate, complimented by a hint of apple & subtle touch of spice on the finish, which is quite clean. Pleasant off dry wine with high enough acidity to keep it lively and balanced. Would pair nicely with medium sweet desserts, such as rice pudding, zabaglione or cheesecake. Alternately, serve with blue cheeses for a surprisingly good food & wine match.
Smith-Berry Flat Rock Red TM 12%
Ripe Concord and Chambourcin grapes welcome you to this fragrant red wine. Juicy fruit flavors continue on the medium bodied palate rounded out with soft tannins. Showcasing true to fruit character with balanced acidity and a smooth finish; this sweet wine should be enjoyed chilled.
Our #1 selling red wine!
Smith-Berry “Rose Red” 12.5%
Bright cherry in color, this sweet Norton red wine offers up aromas of raspberry, cherry, butterscotch, cola, cinnamon and clove. Flavors of plums and red berries are enhanced by hints of violets on the finish. While certainly sweet, the wine’s ample acidity keeps it in balance. Quite pleasurable with a cheesecake topped with raspberry coolie or chocolates.
Drennon Creek "a sweet white" 12%
Coconut cream pie in a glass comes at you on the nose. Richly layered flavors of pear, pineapple and vanilla carry nicely throughout, with adequate acidity to keep the sweetness in balance.
Full bodied, with no perception of oak, this bottle would do nicely for the sweet Riesling or Gewurztraminer lover in your family, and also makes for a fine match with most fruit based desserts. Strawberry shortcake and cherry pie come to mind!
Gewurztraminer 12.5%
Blackberry Wine 11.5%
This blackberry wine is bursting with intense fruit flavors along with lingering tannins and a gorgeous deep purple hue. It is rich and juicy, making it an excellent wine to sip, as well as, pair with intense cheeses, roasted nuts and especially chocolate desserts.
